It’s official: we are now a partner of the Wilde Ganzen Foundation.

We are proud to announce that Wilde Ganzen Foundation has officially approved a partnership with Watoto Welfare to support women affected by conflict in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo through microfinance.

For our donors and supporters, this partnership means greater impact: it helps expand access to financial opportunities for vulnerable women, strengthens household resilience, and creates sustainable pathways to dignity and recovery.

What does this partnership mean to the people we serve:
For projects under €3,000, Wilde Ganzen will match it and double the funding. Wilde Ganzen will be adding 25% to projects with budgets over €6,000, as long as the total stays below €45,000.This is a great boost for Watoto Welfare to reach more vulnerable women to reach restart businesses after war destructions.

⦁ €60: Is six months of tuition for a student.
⦁ €150: Tuition fees and school materials for a student per year.
⦁ €100: Is a seed capital for a woman to start a micro-business, such as poultry or food trading.
⦁ €500+: Can start food trading or small processing in a village.
